Hey, so this is my first build and id like some opinions
I have already bout a few things for this comp so far(some i wish i waited)

Case: Coolermaster CM 690 II Advanced ATX

Or any better diffrent ram? im still lost on the whole ram subject. some places say theres no point in going triple channel as you wont ever notice it. and then theres the whole 1600,1866,2000s. which again alot of places say dont bother with 2000 as 1600 will be virtually the same. I dunno, as i said im lost in this spot lol.

So i hope everything is all good so far. Now im not set on anything, anything can be changed(except for things ive bought obviously), Id even consider going to ati but i prefer nvidia. Thanks in advance.

Since you already have the X58 motherboard, then the only cpu option that makes good sense is the i7-950. This also requires triple channel ram.

As far as you video card or ram, you could go either way and not see a noticeable difference. My personal preference is EVGA and G.Skill, but that's only based on my familiarity with the products and nothing scientific. :)
