mouse: the only thing I don't need.

Operating System:Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit 1-Pack for System Builders - OEM $99.99

I also plan to buy these tools as they're recommanded in the tools page.
Rosewill RTK-002 Anti-Static Wrist Strap $6.99
Arctic Silver 5 Thermal Compound - OEM $9.99
Arctic Silver ACN-60ML (2-PC-SET) Thermal material Remover & Surface Purifier - OEM 9.95

This all adds up to $$752.79 which is a bit over my budget, but I can deal with the 3 dollar. It would be nice if you can tell me if there's something that I wouldn't need or can get a cheaper one for.

Is the PSU that comes with the case enough? Or should I get a case and PSU seperately?

The PSU should be fine for that setup.
You don't really need the Artic Silver compound nor the remover. Save the $20.
You can also disregard the antic static strap, just be careful.
Otherwise, it looks good. Now you can start saving money for a video card upgrade down the road.

Thanks for the reply.

I am worried about the motherboard, is it good enough?

Also, is everything in my build compatible?

Finally, is there any more ways to reduce the total cost of the build without sacrificing much performance?

Good enough for what? Building a complete system for less than $800 is not easy. You've got to pick out some components that are not top of the line. You're just watching movies and some light gaming, you don't need more than what you've picked out.

Looks good to me.

Not really. Your cpu comes with thermal compound. That's why I said earlier to disregard the Artic Silver stuff.
