Could anyone tell me where to get a good anti-static work mat and wrist strap?
The wrist straps are everywhere but I'm having a hard time finding the work mat. You know, just something to put over a table while I build.
Thanks
I don'tknow about an anti-static work mat, but I've used the empty antistatic bag from the motherboard as a work surface cover.

All the Intel motherboard manuals recommend using a "Electrostatic discharge (ESD) workstation using an antistatic wrist strap
and a conductive foam pad. If such a station is not available, you can provide
some ESD protection by wearing an antistatic wrist strap and attaching it to a
metal part of the computer chassis."
I did find a good selection a anti-static work mats here http://www.stanleysupplyservices.com/brand.aspx?id=73&cid=152
Maybe this is overkill.

Just a bit of overkill  ;)
An Antistatic wrist strap is sufficient mate.
Just cover your table with a towel or a piece of a cardboard. You don't really need a mat.
