Hello Rob,

I ordered all the parts for building a SuperPC, including the Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeGamer Sound Card. The card comes with Windows XP and Vista drivers but not for Windows 7. I went to their website and far as I can tell they don't have Win7 drivers for this card. Have you used it with Win7?

Yes, I'm using the Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeGamer Sound Card and it's working just fine under Windows 7. I bought mine in March 2010 and installed the audio drivers that came on the installation CD. The CD is labeld "Installation CD for Windows XP". I've had good luck installing the applications I used under Windows XP on the Windows 7 version of My Super PC.

I've seen reports on forums of hissing and popping with the Sound Blaser X-Fi sound card under Windows 7 64-bit with 4GB of RAM or more, which is what I have, but I have not experienced anything like that myself. Perhaps those were early driver issues which have since been incorrected. The "six month rule of delayed acquisition" still holds.
