I selected this monitor because it has two digital outputs: DVI and HDMI.

The reason for this is so that I can hook the DVI up to my computer and the HDMI up to my PS3.

The problem with that is the monitor does not have sound and since the HDMI has sound embeded in it, how would I get sound?

Would I be able to use the composite audio cables as well as the HDMI video cables together? HDMI connecting to my monitor and composite audio connecting to my speakers?

I just need some advise on this!

Thanks.

If you used the composite audio cable and the HDMI cable, and your monitor had sound, then you would just get lots of sound coming from everywhere.

Basically, the audio is sent through the composite audio cable regardless of whether its plugged into anything. Just put it in your speakers and it should be fine.

Or if not, what kind of adapter will I need?

I have those speakers for my pc. And they are excellent. The sub will shake your house lol.

You should be able to plug them straight in with no trouble.
