Cheap gaming rig

I'm on a pretty tight budget, hoping not to spend over $650.
This will be my first time building so I did some quick research and found a few components I thought would be good, but I'm not sure if they're all compatible or if they're even worth purchasing. Any help is appreciated!

So that brings my total to approximately $750. My biggest concern is whether the RAM will be compatible with my motherboard. I found some compatible memory on Crucial's website but it was quite pricey.

Everything looks fine, apart from that processor and motherboard.

The cheapest, slowest core 2 duo will make mincemeat out of the cpu you have chosen and Intel are slashing (by upto 50%) there prices in about a weeks time.

GPU is very good, don't worry that will play anything on the planet right now and you will even be able to play crysis on that but i would go for a gainward bliss golden sample 7900gs if you can get that.

Memory, get corsair or geil. Even if you are on a budget this ram is affordable and is really good memory especially corsair.

Processor is very decent.

Motherboard is not so. The best gaming mobo i have had on Intel so far is the Asus P5N-E SLI motherboard and it is probably cheaper than that mobo.

You don't need to run two cards but its nice to have the option to run two graphics cards if you want.

For that price i would go for Corsair TWINX XMS. This is super gaming memory and is lightning fast and it looks good as well. Plus it comes with corsair lifetime warranty. Kingston is ok but you pay a little more for ram and you won't regret it.
