Ok so I decided to switch up the parts I'll be using for my first build, how does everything here look?:

Case: Antec Three Hundred Illusion Black Steel (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811129066)
Motherboard: GIGABYTE GA-P55A-UD3 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128412&Tpk=GA-P55A-UD3)
CPU: Intel Core i5-750 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115215&cm_re=i5-750-_-19-115-215-_-Product)
Video card: ASUS GeForce GTX 460 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121387&nm_mc=AFC-Bleeping&cm_mmc=AFC-Bleeping-_-NA-_-NA-_-NA)
RAM: Crucial Ballistix 2GB 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820148313&nm_mc=AFC-Bleeping&cm_mmc=AFC-Bleeping-_-NA-_-NA-_-NA) (x2 for 4GB)
Hard drive: Western Digital Caviar Blue 640GB (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136218&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-Hard%20Drives-_-Western%20Digital-_-22136218&AID=10440897&PID=862686&SID=&nm_mc=AFC-Bleeping&cm_mmc=AFC-Bleeping-_-NA-_-NA-_-NA)
CD Drive: ASUS Black 24x (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=27-135-204&SortField=0&SummaryType=0&Pagesize=10&PurchaseMark=&SelectedRating=-1&VideoOnlyMark=False&VendorMark=&IsFeedbackTab=true&Page=2#scrollFullInfo&nm_mc=AFC-Bleeping&cm_mmc=AFC-Bleeping-_-NA-_-NA-_-NA)
OS: Windows 7 64-bit (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B002NGJO4M/qid=1008036386/sr=8-4/mysuperpc-20)

How does this all look? Everything compatible? I won't need a PSU since I already have one in my current computer.

Only thing I'm not sure about is the CPU/motherboard/RAM situation. I was originally going to go with what mysuperpc.com used, which is an i7-860, GA-P55A-UD4P, and Crucial 8192MB (4GB) PC3-12800 DDR3 RAM, but that is a little more than I wanted to spend. Should I stick with my current build?

Looks good.

Instead of having 4gb (4x1gb), you would be better having 4gb (2x2gb). It might even be a little cheaper.

Funny you mentioned that because I was just about to update the RAM. How does this look: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820148313&nm_mc=AFC-Bleeping&cm_mmc=AFC-Bleeping-_-NA-_-NA-_-NA (would be buying 2 of these for 4GB total)

Also as mentioned I already have a PSU which I was planning to use, not completely sure though if I should stick with it or buy a new one? The one I'm currently using as an Ultra X-Connect 600W with 35A on the +12v rail (there is only one 12v rail though, which means I can't SLI or anything but that's OK because I wasn't planning on it.) I don't really know anything about this Ultra brand though (got it from my friend) should I stick with this?

That ram looks good. Be sure to buy it in a kit of 4gb (2x2gb).

The Sonata III comes with a 500watt Antec Earthwatts power supply. It's a very reliable psu and should be fine for your system.

I think I'm also going to change my case to this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811129066

I don't really see the point in spending so much extra on a case pretty much just for the PSU when I already have a PSU I'll be using. Plus that one seems to have better cooling.

Going to update my first post with the new parts.

Nice choice of a case. If you need further help, we'll be here.

Thanks!

So I think I'm also going to by a CPU cooler for the i5-750. After reading a lot of the reviews of the i5-750 many people say the stock cooler isn't the best, especially if you're going to overclock it (which I just might) so I figure I might as well just get a good cooler now to save myself the hassle of installing the stock cooler, (possibly) finding out it sucks, and then removing it and installing another one.

I'm thinking about getting this cooler: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835186134&Tpk=Freezer%207%20Pro

Nice addition, especially if overclocking is in your future.
