Okay, you guys have been real helpful in the past. Here's the problem:
I just got the balls to boot my computer of first time. Went fine, green LED lighted up, beeped once, all fans spun, went into post and said "new CPU detected" went into BIOS fine. I was so elated that my creation was successful, I began changing BIOS settings (all I changed was I enabled the "cool and quiet setting" and enabled "AMD (or Asus, can't remember) live.") Soon after, a black screen appeared with the message: "Disk boot failure, insert system disk." I became puzzled, so I powered it down and then re-booted. Upon second boot, a screen appeared, (couldn't read it, it loaded too fast) then the same "Disk boot failure" again. I did it once more, then hit the restart button. My screen suddenly turned white, then started to slowly turn dark (really freaked me out). I powered it off, then powered it up again, same "disk failure" screen. I guess this is only because it's trying to boot from the HDD and I haven't loaded the OS onto it???

System:
AMD Athlon 64 x2 6000
Zalman 9500
Asus m2n-sli deluxe
Hitachi Deskstar 320 gb SATA
Sony Optiarc DVD-R/RW, IDE
Raidmax Smilidon (500w psu and fans)
evga 7600gt ko

Yes, that's what I think.
