hi guys ,

thanks for the help you all did for my previous post .

Now my problem is , i got an old pc that is intel pentium 4 only, why i am mentioning it as old pc is ,i bought I - MAC now for music purpose. so now my mom wants to work only in windows pc, so after long time i tried to put windows OS in that old pc , but when i press "on " button the cpu is not getting on ( the cpu fan is not running and also there is no default mother board display in the monitor ) , but there is a light in mother board which means there is power supply . i don't know why this is happening guys .. please figure out my problem please ...thank you thanks in advance :confused::confused::confused::confused:

I believe the P4 or Pentium 4 CPU requires a CPU cooler. If you have one on there and it’s not running but the motherboard is on getting power, you probably fried a CPU. You can buy a new one over at eBay but honestly you’re talking about 2004 technology. Video duration involved in working on such a system you’re better off picking up a $300 E. machine desktop brand-new. And go to Best Buy and get a 22 inch monitor on sale.
