Reformatted and restarts ina loop

Hi I fixed this problem by luck or skill err I mean, but what happened to it?

After i installed framework NEt 2.0 or 3.0, windows media player 11 with security update, dlink nic card drivers, dell monitor drivers, and i think one other thing my computer would boot up to desktop detect routed network for internet, and then the hd light would go all crazy and it would restart, and keep on doing this.

What gives? besdies luck?

What I would do in your case is boot up in safe mode first. If it boots successfully to your desktop without restarting then most likely it's one of the drivers you have installed on your PC.

If this is the case then I suggest you do a System Restore to an earlier date before you installed the drivers.

Afterwards if you want just install the updates one by one until you figure out which one is the one giving you problems.
