After going through a few possible builds, I've preliminarily come up with this:

Ive done a fair bit of research about the parts, and I'm trying to build a pretty decent gaming computer that will play all current games and games that will come out for at least a few years. My major concerns with this are the motherboard, and maybe the graphics card. I do not have much experience in this, so guidance would be greatly appreciated!

If you're really looking for a gaming rig, then I would suggest a Radeon HD 5850 video card. As for the motherboard, you might consider the 890GX since it's the latest version.

Im not quite looking to spend over 200 dollars on a graphics card, I guess that might kinda limit how powerful of a gaming rig that is. A better question would be if you think maybe theres a better card in the 130-200 dollar price range?

Thanks for your motherboard suggestion though, I will change it to one of those.

That's very understandable.

You could stay with your original pick of the GTX260. A very capable card and a great "bang for the buck".
Look at the Radeon HD 5770. Slightly slower than the GTX260, but puts you into DX11 territory.

If you are OK with paying exactly $200 for a graphics card, then the best at the moment is the new GTX 460: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130562

Thats what I've come up with now, I went a bit over budget, but thats what work is for. Are there any other suggestions? I really like the new GTX 460 card, was reading benchmarks and I figured it was the best I can get for a mid-price range.

Thanks for all the input by the way, I really appreciate it.

Excellent!! You went with the 1gb version of that GTX460. I'm jealous! :p

I would encourage you to take a look at the Western Digital Caviar Black 640gb hard drive. It's that same price as the one you listed and is a much better option.
