Below is my parts list for the computer I plan to build this summer. This will be my first attempt building a computer. I plan to purchase Rob's book to help me through it.

I'm not sure which case to choose. My goal is for a case with lots of cooling and quiet. Thought about the Antec Sonata III 500, but I'm confused about the power supply it comes with. Will 500W be enough for my set-up?

My list, so far:
Gigabyte GA-P55A-UD4P
Intel Core 17-860 Lynnfield 2.8 GHz
G.Skill 6GB Ram (3X2GB)
Radeon X1550 512MB PCI-E
Sony Optiarc DVD/CD-OEM
Western Digital Caviar 1T Hard Drive
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

Any comments/advice would be appreciated.
I want a good cool case and I'm having trouble figuring it out along with which power supply.
I am not a gamer, but want a good machine for running Photoshop, InDesign etc.
Thanks,
Kyle

Welcome back Kyle.

That's the wrong ram for that motherboard. The P55 mobo runs a dual channel ram. Something like THIS (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231189) would be great.

I would still suggest looking at a Radeon HD 5750 video card. They usually run less than $150.

As for cases, it's nearly impossible to make recommendations. Everyone has such different tastes. I like the Cooler Master 690 II Advanced, HAF922, and HAF932. I also like the Antec 902. I really like the black interior.
Take a look through some of these video reviews of cases. http://www.3dgameman.com/reviews?category=Cases&rating=100%25+KICKASS&sponsor=All
Thanks to Rodney Reynolds for an excellent job on case reviews.
