Great site
Ok I'm hooked. Been spending some time here reading and I think it's about time to get serious about building my own machine.
What I want it for is trading no gaming and the ability to run multi monitors.
Here's what I came up with using some specs from a firm that builds them for traders.
ASUS P6T LGA 1366 Intel X58 (Crossfire & SLI Compatible
Intel Core i7 930 2.80GHz Quad Core (LGA 1366)
In looking at video cards I came across the following
PNY VCQ295NVS-X1-DVI-PB NVIDIA Quadro NVS 295 x1 256MB GDDR3 Graphics Card
This is heat sink card that would appear to be much quieter that those with fans and would allow be to add multiple cards to the board if needed. I believe the mother board has three pci 16 slots
Any thoughts? Also suggestions on a case probably full height but with no blue, green or red lights lights etc.
the other items seem to be pretty basic but open to suggestions
