I just purchased your book and it has different components than what is posted on your website. For example, book has ASUS motherboard and your website has GigaByte. The book has AMD CPU and website has Intel CPU.
Which are up to date recommendations - the book or website?

Also, if I do not need expensive and hot gaming computer but just a business computer to do email and internet, can you recommend components for such?

Thanks for your advice. I noticed the MB you recommend on your web, Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3P, is not for sale by NewEgg.

Is Amazon a reliable source for computer components?

If arrives DOD, is Amazon good about refunding or exchanging quickly?

So they sell alot of these so bios would be up to date.

Thanks!

Hi BadBob. Go to the Build Your Own PC section of the forum and post a thread explaining what kind of computer you want to build. What kind of software you use, what do you expect it to do, how much do you want to spend. We will be happy to help you choose the best components to fit your needs.
