hi,

i've got an ABIT AN9 32X motherboard that's got "Dual NV Gigabit LAN" ports built into it. until now I've just been using an add-on wireless card to connect to the internet, but I now need to use a network cable. the problem is that these connections (there are two ports) don't work when i plug the cable in, and they don't even show up in my "Network Connections". all that shows up there is my wireless and my 1394 connection (which is firewire, right? I don't use it, so that's disabled). i'm running windows xp.

thanks!

Try removing your wireless card from the system completely - it may be affecting the other connections.

Also, try downloading the latest version of your motherboard drivers from the ABIT website.
