Geforce 8400 GS 512 MB

I'm looking to pick up a video card for my Win7 machine and only need it for streaming video and browsing. Onboard video often stutters on me. Looks like I can pick up a Geforce 8400 GS 512 MB for about $30, but was wondering what the differences are between different brands and why the prices vary so much on these cards? Thanks!

price varies on cards because of what the different companies that manufacture the card do with the blue print from the original designer, some over clock the processor, some give it more ram but a slower processor, some give more ram and a faster processor, some give it better cooling, some make it quieter.
many different things can change the prices of the " same " card.
