So recently my computer gave me a beep code and failed to start (fans spun, no video). I figured it was time for an upgrade anyway, so I bought a new mobo, processor, ram, and video card.

Here are the parts:

I have a 480W power supply.

Assembled it, and the same thing happened without the beeps. The fans spin, but nothing on the screen. Tried using the on board video with no luck. I've removed everything so all that is left on the motherboard now is the ram, the 2 power connectors, and the processor.

I've tried reseting the CMOS by both moving the jumper, and removing the battery. I tried reseating both of my sticks of ram in A1. I tried using a different monitor and DVI cable, and it didn't seem to help. I don't get any beep codes.

Any further suggestions?

I triple checked the seating of the RAM, and both mobo power connectors. The CPU fan is plugged into the correct slot, and spins fine. I hear no beeps, which it seems like if it works right there should still be one short one. Maybe my old speaker isn't compatible with my new motherboard? It only uses 2 of 4 pins, ignoring the 2 ground wires in the center.
