I know, I should have gotten a Bundle. I do not have my OS yet, but tried to power up and unit is cycling on and off. Any ideas?

I got it! I had forgotten to plug back in my low voltage side of my MOBO.

Now what? WIN7 Pro or XP Pro? And monitor?

Any ideas there?

Plugging in the monitor is always a good idea. Or are you talking about recommendations?

I would recommend going for Windows 7 - XP, while familiar, is very old now and is not as secure.

Anyhow, glad you sorted it out.

Looking for recommendations for a monitor. I will be using mainly for web, email and work w/Word, Excel, etc.... But also some photo and home movies.
My two grandsons will probably talk me into a game or two of theirs (7 & 5yrs old).

I think Win71 is the way I will go, thanks for that.

Thanks again.

Check out this Samsung monitor and read some of the reviews.

I recently replaced my dual 19" LG's with the T260HD's which is the 25.5" version. These are a combination monitor/HDTV they come with all the latest inputs and outputs along with all the cables which is a big plus. It also has a resolution of 1920 x 1200 which most see as more desirable than 1920 x 1080. I think it is outstanding both as a monitor and HDTV. The picture is beautiful. Tiger Direct has it for $219 and I believe Office Depot where I bought mine has them on sale for $229.
