NOTE:
I posted this thread a couple days ago but since then I've raised my spending limit to $1700 from the original $1200-1300 I had before. I know $1700 is probably more extravagant than is ever necessary but I don't plan to actually spend that much, that's simply the point in which I start second guessing my spending before I end up with a 30 foot tall monitor sitting outside my bedroom window.

I'm making a power house gaming PC and I want the "most bang for your buck" set up regardless of the overall price. That said, the current build is a copy/paste from the most current recommendations:

Case Cooler Master HAF932

Motherboard MSI P55-GD80 LGA 1156 Intel P55 ATX Intel Motherboard

CPU Intel Core i7-860 Lynnfield 2.8GHz

Power Supply CORSAIR CMPSU-750TX 750W ATX12V

Ram G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600

GPU SAPPHIRE 100282SR Radeon HD 5850 1GB

Hard Drive Western Digital Caviar Black WD6401AALS 640GB

Optical Drive LITE-ON Black 24X DVD+R 24X DVD-R SATA Black 24X DVD Writer LightScribe Support

Operating System Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

Total Estimated Cost:
$1370

Now the remaining parts are a monitor and an audio card (I can find my own keyboard and mouse at least). The monitor I'm looking for is between 24" - 30". The audio card.... well I'm not sure. I don't know much about audio cards or the complicated audio equipment. I only ask because I do possess a need for midi support in order to plug in my keyboard and such. Does this motherboard have built in audio/midi?
