I am using the Gigabyte EP45-UD3P MB.

I did not use the case Rob suggested. The case connections look as follows:

(NC)(RES)(HD)
---- X XX XX
XXXX XX XX
SPKR (PW) (MSG)

After making all the connections I have a three prong plug left. There are three prongs outside of this box of connections just below the MSG connection. Does it go here? A little under this is labeled PWR LED and it is a PWR cable. But the wording is a little further away than I would expect. Safe to connect here? There is also a CLR CMOS label under the SPKR connection and two prongs but I have no plug for that. Any help?

I would think that it connects to the PWR LED socket. It won't do anything bad if you connect it to the wrong thing, you just might find that it doesn't turn on because the power switch is connected to the HD LED or something.

The CLR CMOS requires a jumper to connect the two prongs, and is used to restore the BIOS/CMOS to its factory default settings.

Appreciate the reply. I believe I have it correct now.
