I am building my first system but I have a few questions and would like some recommendations. because even with my basic knowledge and research, I have found some compatibility issues. I would also just like a second opinion if there is something out there that is a better bang for my buck, or is sure to work together flawlessly. If you think I should make a different choice on anything that i provided, please chime in, as long as its similarly priced. My budget is 1200 but if I go a hundred over, so be it, I'd rather buy once and only cry once.
Main uses: Music, web, want to get into the new games coming out, Photoshop, and a little bit of recording music.

Win7 64bit
antec case haven't decided on which one yet, probably 300 illusion at least for an idea.

Anything not from newegg is out of stock there.

HT Omega Striker 7.1 (if someone knows of a superior card, even SB for $100-$150, please say so) If my comp is on, so is my music. and I'm getting into small recordings, hopefully more after i get this build done.

I have an antec earthwatts 500w atx12v v2.2 that i put in a dell(go figure why i want to upgrade:p) to support an NVIDIA8800. But i don't think that's enough for this new build, if someone begs to differ please do. I would rather put that cash towards my main issue below.

G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666)

I am really lost on what RAM would benefit most or at least get the job done correctly. Gskill seemed fair for the pricing and reviews, but I've seen compatibility issues with some Gskill and AM3 processors or at least having to set it within the BIOS setup (I am a total noob who would rather deal with the least amount of time in BIOS as possible).
So I am looking for preferably six to eight GB of DDR3 memory that would work at its full potential easily in this setup. Any other ideas on RAM from Gskill and most definitely a different company would be highly appreciated.
