Taken from recommendations of a friend of mine, I've collected up these components for my first build. Not that I don't trust him, but I was hoping that some members here can help validate that I have a compatible set not only with each other, but also with Windows 7 Professional, which I bought. Will it work? Is there anything I'm missing? (besides the heatsink)

That's really a nice upper-end build. Why you putting it in a cheap case. Cooler Master has some great cases. Take a look at RC690, Storm Scout, Storm Sniper, or the HAF 922 or 932.

Also, get the Black hard drives, not Blue. Black is faster and has a better warranty.

Bah, they're already at my house :P Maybe I could return them...

As far as heatsink, my friend says all-copper is the way to go, but it's impossibly hard to find one that fits a 1156 socket, I'm guessing because it's so new. I found one and it will barely fit, but the mounting brackets are out of stock... anyone know of any copper 1156 heatsinks?
