Chipset ATI or Nvidia?

As the title says. what do you think is a better chipset and why? ATI or NVIDIA? keep in mind this will be a new build with I7 intel processor and running with Windows 7 OS. I am getting build together now I will post when I have all the specs. Thanks for you time.

Have you considered the Intel chipset P55?

I have not looked into it much. Chipset is something that I am still learning about. Please inform me or chunk me a few links where I can educate myself.
