Hi guys, I selected a few parts as listed below. I wonder if there is any significant flaw or bottleneck in this build.
I’m not quite sure how to pick memory sticks. The only thing I understand to pay attention to is latency. Is 7-7-7-24 better than 8-8-8-21?
For the computer case, my goal is a silent one with no fancy flashing LED’s. Any suggestions other than P183? I like the Antec III in the Super build, but it only comes with 500W PSU, which might not be enough for the more demanding GTX 275 plus RAID 0 array of two 1-TB HDD’s.
I change the graphic card from the GTX 260 in the Super build to GTX 275. Will the performance increase justify the price difference? Is it an overkill or will it break the balance of the system and create bottlenecks? I’m using a 1920x1200 Dell 2408WPF monitor
I like the Zalman CPU cooler in the Super Build and I wonder if there is a similar cooler that is compatible with 1156 socket?
I’m not planning to buy an audio card until I’m ready to buy a 5.1 speaker system.
I have monitors, keyboard and mouse from a previous build and I’m planning to use an external DVD burner.

All the links are for Newegg though I'm planning to buy parts from both Newegg and Microcenter. Total cost will be ~$1200 from Newegg+Microcenter. I prefer to pick up my Mobo and HDD's from a retail store rather than having them shipped via UPS. There is a review on Newegg saying Fedex handles shipment more gently than UPS, though more expensive. I didn't include the cost for operation system for I have an MSDN account and already downloaded Win7 Pro.
