Wireless network card

This will be my first PC build. Do I order a different network card if I need a wireless connection for this machine.

Some motherboards have a wireless card built in, but most of them don't, so you will either need a separate card or a USB adapter. I would recommend the USB adapter as this is much easier to transfer from one PC to another, if you so desire, and they are usually fairly cheap.

I will be using a Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3P per the instructions on the super build. Do you still suggest a USB adapter???

It also depends how far away from your router your PC is going to be, and what your router is capable of in terms of signal. If you look at the specs for a wireless adapter, it will tell you the range it supports - N is further than G, which is further than B, which is further than A (though A is fairly deprecated nowadays).

For example, this adapter is cheap and has awesome reviews, but only supports up to b/g:

On the other hand, this is a top of the range product that supports the latest standards, but of course you pay an extra premium on top of that:

Maybe you will want to wait until the super build is updated with i7-860 system. It might be more expensive than Core 2 system though.
