I'm an old (age) gamer and want to build a gaming box. I don't want to bust the bank but I want great results. I am using an IMac now, running bootcamp. My box has: Intel Core 2 Duo 3.06 GHz, Nvidia GeForce GT130 (512 MB), 4 GB ram, 1 TB HD, with a 24" LCD, and XP OS. What you think? This new PC will be from the ground up. Thanks

Should we take that list to be what you expect to build, or what you have? If it is what you have, then you might want to mention the games you want to play and where it seems to be lacking. This setup sounds similar to the medium-budget build I did two years ago that has never had a problem playing any of my games. But, I've been doing WoW type games, not Crysis, and I don't know what kind of problems one can have running windows on a Mac.
