had my mind made up on the q9550 setup, but now the i5's are out and i think i changed my mind...
Have a question about the mobo though...
Im lookin at 3...
Gigabyte UD2
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128405
Gigabyte UD4
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128404
Gigabyte UD4P
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128400
Im partial to Gigabyte....But im not real sure if the last 2 are worth the extra money...I like the fact that the UD4P has 3 extra PCI x slots and 2 PCIx 2.0 slots. It also has 2 1394 ports.
The UD2 is the cheapest and the most recommended in builds i have been looking at.
And the UD4 looks like it is in the middle of the 2 with only 8 USB ports.
The UD2 would probably be a better choice as I have decided not to do Crossfire/SLI.
Any Advice?
