ok when i first built my pc i had this motherboard http://www.gigabyte.us/Products/Motherboard/Products_Overview.aspx?ProductID=2810

i have this in my pc now
Sony DRU-840A DVD+R 20x Dual Layer DVD writer Burner
New Crucial Ballistix 2GB (2 x 1GB) DDR2-1066 PC2 8500 8 gb total
Antec Earthwatts EA-500D - 500 Watt Power Supply
NZXT Tempest Series Steel ATX Mid-Tower Computer Case
NEW Western Digital Caviar SE16 WD6400AAKS Hard Drive 640GB 7200

EVGA 512-P3-N975-AR GeForce 9800 GT 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card

ok so my problem before was the comp turning off and restarting just cycling back and forth. so eventually i took it down to my moms work to their computer guy ( they are all lousy by the way ) he said it was the motherboard. i got a new motherboard this one http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128358&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-Motherboards+-+Intel-_-GIGABYTE-_-13128358
and now i get the short continuous beeps ( power error ) then i would shut it off and try again and it works, try later on and error so its random, i tryed single everything out. can the memory cause power error? i out one stick in and it worked then added the other ones one at a time with the working one in there the other 3 got a power error. any input would be appreciated thanks.
