Hi forum,

So far here is the components I've selected:

Windows 7

ASUS M3N78-VM AM2+/AM2 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131318)
-this comes with a nvidia GeForce 8200, right? Is this a decent graphics card? I don't need a high-end gaming one, but one nice enough to run some games.

AMD Phenom II X4 AM2+ (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103471)

Rosewill MicroATX Mid Tower Computer Case (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811147112)

Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136284)

G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1066 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231166)

Sony Optiarc Black CD/DVD drive (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16827118030)

SYBA PCI 1-Channel CardBus Host Controller (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16815124021)

MASSCOOL FD08025S1M4 80mm Case Fan (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835150007) X2 (?)

Scythe SY1225SL12L 120mm "Slipstream" Case Fan (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835185057)

SeaSonic S12 Energy Plus SS-550HT 550W (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817151027)

Sound card-not sure where to start, any recommendations?

Ignore mouse/keyboard/monitor/speakers for now.

Will the power supply I've selected be sufficient? I don't have total confidence in my ability to appropriately choose a psu, but my research tells me this should work.

Thoughts?

Thanks

Where are you going to put all those fans?
What is the purpose of the card controller?
The geforce 8200 is an integrated graphics controller, not a dedicated graphics card.
I have more questions, but we'll start there.

There should be space in the front for the 120mm, there is one pre-installed in the back, and it looks like there's a spot for two 80mm's in the back.

We use wireless at my house, so that's why I want the controller.

Can you give me a brief explanation of how the graphics controller differs from a dedicated graphics card?

I'm currently without a functional home PC, so getting an operating computer ASAP is a goal. I've been wanting to do this for a while now, and I want it to be nice, but I'll skip parts that are non-vital if I can install them at a later date (graphics, sound).
