Hello all!
I was wondering if anyone has had, or heard about problems with installing Vista and XP on the same drive (2 partitions)?
XP installs just fine for me, but when i try to istall Vista, the setup takes hours when "completing installation" and than the screen goes black.
Both Vista and XP are 32-bit.
Thank you, best regards

It's never a good idea to have 2 OS-es at the same time. You should just stick with one of them.
Sorry, I haven't tried it and haven't heard about it. You might find this link helpful.

I installed Vista 32 first drive 0 (C) than XP pro on drive 0 (D). It worked but not well. My final solution was add 2 drives C: Vista 64, D: Vista 32 E: ATA drive XP Pro. This works great for backups to WHS.

I dual-boot XP and openSUSE 10.3, with no problems at all. I run the two OSs of a 74GB Raptor with a 250GB storage drive split 200:50 in favour of XP.
