I have a Gigabyte EX58-UD5 Mobo.
I bought G.Skill DDR2-1000 PC2-8000 2GBx2 memory.
It won't fit as the little notch doesn't line up. Can someone tell me the proper memory to buy? Is it DDR3 I need?

DDR2 won't work, you need DDR3.
Something like this should work fine.

Oh, one other thing. I currently have a credit at Amazon.com and would like to use that to buy my memory. No one on Amazon is carrying the suggested memory. Will any DDR3 do? Any brand to stay away from? Much Thanks.

That would work great.
Do you know the part number for that ram you need to sell?
Can you post a link to it?
How much do you want?

It's this:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231174
I would be willing to sell it for 30.00 plus shipping. I opened it but it's brand new. Do we have a B/S/T thread here? Or is that not allowed?

Shoot. That's different from what I have. Sorry. Stick it on ebay, I'm sure it will sell.

NP. I'm putting up on the 'bay tonight. I'm really kicking myself. I don't know how I made that mistake.
