my cpu started overheating the other day and i don't know why nothing has changed. but now i can't even get it to boot up the pc turns on then nothing on the screen comes on. i have an older processer i could throw in, but im puzzled if it might be the vc too. also the processoer only got up to 39 c i thought that is in the realm of being ok? well any help is appreciated thx

39C is fine for CPUs - what CPU do you have?

i have an amd 4000 from the old 939 series

Try the older CPU and see if it boots - eliminate one possible problem at a time. :)
