1 of the 2 harddisk is damaged

on my computer 1 of the 2 harddisk is damaged. if i remove 1 harddisk wil that work or i must do somethink extra to make the harddisk primere ?? now its saying that no fixed drive found :(

I don't know how best to advise you. I know that services do exist to try and repair and recover a damaged hard drive, but I haven't had to use one myself.
