This is my first attempt at a build...clueless. Anyway curious as to if you can test the PSU with the case fans prior installing the motherboard and other components? Using a HAF 932 and want to see what the fan noise level is before I move to the next step in the build. Thanks

It is possible, but it involves "hot-wiring" your PSU to simulate the power switch on the front of your PC, which I definitely don't recommend if this is your first build.
Install the motherboard, CPU and 1 stick of RAM to be able to turn on the PC long enough to hear how loud the fans are.

Watch this video review. It will give you a good idea of the fan noise.

Hope that helps.

Thanks for the help...used a PSU tester and fired them up. Nice and quiet.

PSU tester? Never come across that before - the only method I know is to short out pins 14 & 15 using a paper clip. :D
Anyhoo, glad that the fans are to your liking. If you have any more questions/problems with the build, just let us know.
