I am looking to build my first pc and the primary goals are watching internet video on a 52" DLP with DVI, HDMI, S video inputs and listening to it on a 5.1 receiver with optical or coax digital inputs (can't remember what is available). I also want to be able to VPN to my work desktop which uses XP pro. I want to keep it open for future upgrades, but keep costs low as to not be tempted to just buy a prebuilt system. Also Dual monitor setup with a 19" LCD monitor.
I think I want to stick with Intel CPU and core 2 duo. My first thought is the list below:

Case Rosewill tu-155 400w supply - $60
MoBo GIGABYTE GA-EP45-UD3R - $105
CPU E7400 - $120
Video ASUS EAH3450/DI/256M Radeon HD 3450 - $20
OS Vista 64 bit business - $140
Plus HDD, DVD burner, 4GB Ram for total of $585.

Please modify for sufficiency and cost. Thanks.

That all looks pretty good, but I doubt you will need 4GB of RAM. No problem with getting it to be on the safe side though.
