Hey all :)

I have been contemplating on what to do for college. I was just going to get a laptop from dell but have always wanted to build my own PC. Anways... Here I am, asking you what to build. I have no idea where to start. I love powerful computers, and of course want to build one, with the idea of possibly gaming a little? After I build, I am probably going to get a little netbook (taking notes, simple word processing) I think this is a great idea.

Now, again I have no idea, so all help would be appreciated. Also, is it going to be more expensive to build a rig that could hook up to a 32" LG lcd 720p.

Again, thanks a lot!

If the $1000 budget is to include a 32" LCD, this might not be so simple. Even a cheap 32" TV is $400 and up.

If I misunderstood, then here is a really nice monitor than would go nicely with our Budget Build PLUS+

I already have a tv. I don't think I am going to worry about hooking it up. Thanks for the input
