I don't like to jump into a thread if I know I won't be around for the follow up (been busy lately), but just one thought. I'm not sure why you would want 6gb of triple channel memory with XP 32bit. Aside from the 3.25gb limit in 32bit os, I think triple channel ddr3 is really best on chipsets that support it. Here's another option:

Thanks for the feedback. Aside from the memory issue, i think i'll just get vista since it supports 64bit.
