I'm planning on building a a new PC to coincide with the reslease of Win7 operting system.
I've looked over the Buget+ build recommendations.

I want a computer that is very fast when doing tasks in PhotoShop, InDesign, and Illustrator. I am not a gamer per se.

My question is would the Budet+ be good for the above tasks I usally perform on the computer. Are there any hardware items that need to be "juiced up" or are there any that could be "juiced down"?

My other consideration is cooling as the box will sit under my desk with another box and not a lot of air circulation.

Does anyone have any thoughts they would like to share?

Thanks,
Kyle Denise

For image design and things like that, you may want to consider upgrading the CPU to the E8400 or Q9400, as well as getting 4GB of RAM. Other than that, the BB+ should be fine. :)

The Budget Build PLUS+ already has 4 gb of ram, but like WM said, an upgrade of the processor would be a good idea. Since you're not a gamer, you could save about $100 on the video card by downgrading to a 9400GT like this (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130471).

oh btw, Welcome to the forums. :)
