I see on your Super computer that the Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3P Motherboard is crossfire certified and mentions nothing about SLI yet you chose a GTX260 SLI compatible video card. Whats up? Is that the point? If I am not going to do it ,it does not matter correct ?
I had already chosen that card for my new build with out any intention of bridging two cards. My Son keeps telling me to buy an evga Mo Bo with SLI but it is twice as expensive
If in the future I find the need more graphics power I would be screwed with Gigabyte board wouldn't I?
I do not like the $200 price tag ov the evga MoBo that is sli compatible.
This is the second PC that I have built. I built the last one 5 years ago and times have changed. I will play some games but I am an old guy and not a hard core gamer. I just like to be able to talk to my son about what he is into and gaming is it.I like to play once in a while so I am more in touch with his life. Something to do when the wife is working to..
Thanks for the help.
