Well I did it and I'm impressed with the new system as shown below. Some notes on the build:

Plenty of room in the Antec case but disappointed in that no sound for beep codes. No lead for it. Fans are a plenty though and and set on high you can hear it and actually feel it outside the box. Glad I stuck with the 900 because the 1200 is giagantic.

The motherboard is excellent. Plenty of clear to read documentation. Markings on the board very understandable. Setup easy. Add-on applications sweet!

Graphics card: HUGE! Did I say Huge? No it's HUGE and impressive and it works with superb clarity. Don't look for lots of support though. Follow Rob's directions.

Hard drive: Somewhat loud but bearable and it spins quick!!

Power Supply: Enough leads to power 3 PC's plan for storage of the extra lines. Damned thing came packaged in a velet bag and rightfully so. All leads clearly marked and it's quiet as can be.

Vista 64: Installed seamlessly, interface is definitley different, driver support seamless, I think I'm going to like it.

As far as purchase: Newegg is flawless here. Ordered everything at the same time. 3 day shipping was right on the button. Everything bubble wrapped and it is a good thing because good ole UPS threw the damned box around like it was a volleyball. Took Rob's suggestion with AMEX Blue and no hitches.

As far as help here: Beyond explanation! I've already mentioned the site to numerous people and all were impressed but not near as much as I've been I'm sure. My thanks to RickyTick and Chunky in helping me realize it could be done with ease and of course with their expert advise. Last and foremost my many thanks to Rob to setting up a site like this, my appreciation will be forthcoming to you and your efforts. I never would have gone this far without your encouragement and detailed instruction and I've been A+/NET+ certified about 5 years ago. Your site gave me the boost in the arse I needed to go beyond filling the pockets of corporate giants that are selling half assed equipment and online merchants charging 3 - 5 grand for a system that I have now built for $1500. If you couldn't tell I'm extremely pleased and know that this system will keep me for a long time to come.

Many,Many Thanks
Rick

Nice job Rick. By the way, put some wings on this baby and see if it flies.
