I built a computer using this site about a year ago. Here are the specs.

Motherboard: ASUS P5KC
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E6750 2.66 GHz
Hard Drive: Western Digital 500GB 7200 RPM SATA
RAM: Crucial Ballistix 4GB DDR2 SDRAM
Video Card: eVGA GeForce 8600GT 256MB Video Card
DVD RW: Lite-On 20x Double Layer DVD RW/CDRW
Power Supply: CORSAIR 520HX Power Supply
OS: Microsoft Windows Vista 32-Bit Home Premium
Case: COOLER MASTER Centurion 5 CAC-T05-WW

When I initially press the power button on the Case, the computer doesnt turn on immediately. It usually sits there for about 15-20 seconds and then it beeps/blue LED turns on. After that it starts the normal process of showing how the harddrives are detected etc. Quickly flashes the all of the component info and then Windows starts to Boot.

My question is why does the computer not instantly turn on and respond when I press the power button? Why does it take so long?

Is this specific to the Centurion Case? Motherboard loading issues?

Any suggestions are welcome.
