Sorry to bother you with this but not sure I will get a reply elsewhere....

Have you ever seen the following error mes when trying to burn, in this case with sony dvd architect.
Have used both samsung sh-s203n and the asus drw-20b1lt and get the same error.
Movie is rendered from vegas ms 9 plat as mpeg2 just fine and move to dvda ok also but the drives give this mes as they try to burn.

‘SFMMCX’-

that is not supported by the drive.
Status:00020202
Command bt 00 00 00 00 00 00

MSI K9NBPM2-FID
BIOS, A7252NMS V5.6, 9-6-07
AMD ATH 64X2, AM2, 5200, 2.6GH
WEST DIG 500 SATA ll
KINGSTON DDR2 PC64 2G
ASUS DRW-20B1LT
XP PRO , SP2

What could be going on with various drives? I have updated both drive's firmware.
Must be internal as surely two new drives would not be bad.
Again Rob, sorry to reach you with this but I am desperate. This is taking all the fun out of the system you helped me build last year.
thanks
Ed

Hi, Ed: Sorry, but I'm not familiar with this issue. But I think there's a good chance you'll see more feedback that could be helpful.
