I am looking for a set of headphones with a mic. My daughter is taking an online computer class and some of classes require her to listen to a lecture and require her to be able to respond back. I don't want to break the bank with this purchase but I don't want to buy something really cheap, either. That being said, my budget on these are about 50 dollars. Thanks all.

I use a Creative Fatality Gaming headset, but it's $50.

For the price, this one will be hard to beat.

Thanks for the quick reply Ricky, you always come through for me. I was looking at the FATAL1TY and also these. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826502007 May just go with the FATAL1TY though. Thanks again, guess I just needed to hear it from someone who has used them.

Glad to help. I like headsets with a removable mic.

I've always preferred the in-ear kind. The only one I found with a mic worth the price is this one from Plantronics. Due to the short cord, it's really more designed for someone traveling with a laptop.

However, it was only worth the price when it was $15.00. Probably not worth it without being on sale again.

If she is taking the online course at home, she could just use a normal headset and just buy a mic.

That is a good idea Barrister, I think I already have both of those, or maybe I should say, she does. Thanks for the tip.

Hey Partyman,

I just got a sales flyer from Newegg offering the Creative Fatal1ty Headset for $45.99 with free shipping. If you give me your email, I'll forward it to you.
