Hey folks,

I'm going to buy a high-end gaming rig for Vista x64, and I am thinking about the following setup. I would like to overclock the processor to around 4 GHz on air, and if perhaps to overclock the memory and GPU.

Rickytick might know more about this than I do but its worth looking into if your serious about overclocking. But look into overclocking the i7 920 to 4ghz. The ability to overclock these processors was nerfed when they were released. Most benchmarks I read can only get a stable 3.2 to 3.4. Not sure if this matters to you or not. As I said others with more knowledge might know more about this but I thought it was worth mentioning

(just fixing a small typo)

Actually...

I would recommend the 4870X2 as it has better drivers at the moment, but check out some benchmarks and see which card suits you for the games you want to play.
