All fans operate. PSU,GPU and all 4 case fans.
The CPU fan with the OCZ cooler isn't though. If I plug in the
cooler fan that came with the CPU, it turns on after a couple seconds.

The Motherboard documentation says "The motherboard supports CPU
fan speed control, which requires the use of a CPU fan with fan speed
control design."

The OCZ documentation makes no mention of the fan that came with it.

Am I not waiting long enough for the OCZ fan to kick on or is the fan that
came with the cooler not going to work. As it is I'm waiting til I see the
Gigabyte logo screen pop up then turn it off. (about 6-7 seconds)

My build is HERE (http://forums.mysuperpc.com/showthread.php?t=2131&page=3)

The cpu is probably not getting hot enough to activate the fan.

You could load a temp monitoring program like Real Temp 2.0 and then run a stress test (like OCCT) on the cpu to see if the fan cranks up while under a load and monitor the temps.

Thank you.
You're right. I was just being overly cautious I guess. It kicked on a little later than the other fan.

CPU and RAM was correctly recognized.

I'm still concerned there's no internal speaker though. You said you have this case right? Did yours have one?

Oh well. Tommorrow the drives are going in & she should be up and running. I hope I'll
have enough time to myself after work.

Cheers & thanks again.
