Ok well I would like to build a gaming computer. I'd like to spend under $1300 if possible but $1500 is my max price range.
I want it to be up to date as possible so I can play the latest games at max resolution as well.

I've never really done this before, so if any of the parts don't match up correctly or there some hints and tips that you can send my way, it would be greatly appreciated.

Here is what I came up with.

Mother board:
GIGABYTE GA-EX58-DS4 LGA 1366 Intel X58 ATX Intel Motherboard

RAM:

Video Card:

CD/DVD Drives:

OS:
Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate SP1 64-bit English 1pk DSP OEI DVD for System Builders - OEM

Price: Approximately $1600

Now the price is a little over from what I wanted, but I threw this together to try and get an idea if I was finding the parts correctly.
I'm going to want to cut the price down a bit, so I think I'm going to get a different mother board/CPU but I would like the top of the line for MOBO/CPU just so I can upgrade later if need be without worrying about that.

So if I could get some feedback on my choices that would be awesome.

If you know of where I could cut some of the cost down that would also be appreciated.

Well I hope you can help me out because I'm VERY new to this and I need LOTS of help :D

It would be nice if I could keep it cool and quite as well!

I guess some other things I'm worrying about would be going with the i7. I really want a top of the line MOBO and CPU but should I wait a little for the new cpu to be more stable?
From what I've heard the older cpu is just as good if not better at times, but I know that a year from now the i7 will be necesarry for future hardware/software.
