Put my machine together today with help from the guide (THANKS) and things are working better than I had hoped.

While looking at the BIOS is sees 2 hard drives (I have a 70gb 10000 rpm, and a 1TB 7400) I was hoping to keep the OS and such on the fast drive with the larger drive being a file storing location.

Do I need to specify with a jumper to get windows to see the larger drive?

(It is running wonderfully on the fast drive, but will not locate of even see the larger one)

The drives were OEM and didnt come with any jumpers or instructions etc.

Thanks for any help, still learing all the big words here but getting better.

Jon

don't feel bad happen to me alot.

For formatting, when you can't see the drive, best way is:

Start>My Computer> right click> left click manage> Disk Mangement

Find your hard drive in there and right click to format.
