:;)Would you check this list whether there is any incompatibility, oddness, suboptimal item or better idea/recommendation?

Main use of new 'puter---Internet, video, home entertainment, photoshop but not gaming.
System is Intel based.

Case: Antec 900

3.5" Foppy Disc: Do I need it ? ( to boot the computer?) (Rob's book says so)

Since you're not a gamer, the 9800GT video card is far more than you need. You could save some money with a 9600GT and still be fine even if you decide to try a game or two down the road.

Also, a 750 watt psu is overkill. You could get by with a lot less and save a few more dollars. jmo

There's not much need for a 3.5 floppy either. They're cheap, so if you think you might need it, then go ahead. I have 3 computers in my house, and none have a 3.5 floppy drive.
