Im getting that common problem where the computer is powering fine but im not getting a boot. My monitor just says No input signal. I read the first boot problems section in the pc guide on this site. I tried clearing the cmos, using the jumper. Switched it over for 10 seconds then put it back, didnt work. I tried playing with the pwr and reset connectors, didnt work. I checked all my ram and video card fits to make sure they were tight. What else am i missing?

Asus P5k Pro
Intel e8500
MSI 4850
Mushkin ddr2 800 8Gb
Corsair 750w pwr supply

Could simply be a bad mobo. A number of us had that same problem with the P5KC several months ago. Replaced motherboards made all the difference.

Are you getting a POST?...a single beep signal from the computer's internal speaker that indicates it's all good or a sequence that indicates that the mobo god is angry? If the latter or not any POST at all, all signs are pointing toward bad mobo. But first try removing the video card and see if the POST sequence changes at all...it could be a bad GPU...
