Laptop Recommendations needed

Hello to All-
I am planning to build my next desktop computer, however, I also have need of
a good, economical laptop computer. To my knowledge, I haven't seen any information on building your own laptop so I assume I will need to buy a "ready made" laptop. If anyone, including Rob, has any thoughts or suggestions on a "best buy" based on Rob's "best bang for the buck" thinking I would really appreciate your input. I currently have a Dell Desktop that's about 4 years old and I have had really good service from Dell. I don't need a "super top of the line" video powerhouse, just a good quality laptop.

I don't think you can go wrong with a Dell Laptop. They are both reliable and economical depending on what price range you're looking at.

If you're looking for something that has a bit more performance and is still at a good price you should look one up in www.newegg.com I usually sort by best rated/most reviews to get an idea of what the user base thinks of that certain product.
